Heeeeeeeyyyy! Ik heb heel veel om te vertellen. Let's go!
Het duurde negen(!) uur om van Hawaï naar Nieuw-Zeeland te vliegen. En er was geen tijdsverschil, maar het was wel een dag later! Gek toch? We waren een paar dagen in Auckland, maar het regende de hele tijd. We reden naar Rotorua, waar allemaal geisers en stinkende, bubbelende modder zijn! Het stonk naar een mengsel van rotte eiren en zweetsokken...
Toen gingen we naar Wellington. Het is superleuk daar! Daar gingen we op de veerboot naar South Island. In Havelock gingen we met de postboot mee. Dat is een boot die post bezorgt aan mensen die heel afgelegen wonen en geen internet of een weg naar hun huis. Het was heel interessant om te zien hoe die mensen wonen. Ze zijn compleet afgelegen van de bewoonde wereld. Ze hebben geen elektriciteit, geen internet, geen telefoon, geen buurtsuper om Oreos en flamingo-floaties te kopen, en ga zo maar door. Toch kiezen ze ervoor om zo te leven, dat is toch megabijzonder?
Na Havelock gingen we naar Motueka, waar we een hele mooie kayaktocht hebben gedaan. Over de volgende drie dorpjes ga ik niet schrijven, want er was echt he-le-maal NIKS. Dat is ook eigenlijk heel bijzonder, in de rest van de wereld heb je dat niet. In Wanaka was het enorm slecht weer. Op de bergtoppen lag zelfs sneeuw!
Toen we naar Te Anau reden stopten we onderweg even in Queenstown, waar we megalekkere sushi hebben gegeten. In Te Anau hebben we een cruise in Milford Sound gedaan, zooooooo mooi! We hebben ook zeehondjes gezien daar. De volgende dag gingen we naar de gloeiworm-grotten. Als je daar bent is het pikkedonker, het enige wat je ziet zijn de lichtjes van de gloeiwormen. Echt gaaf! En weer de volgende dag (wat deden we veel zeg) gingen we naar de Doubtful Sound. Alleen dat ging niet zo goed...
Het was keihard aan het regenen. Ik wou niet gaan maar mijn ouders hadden heel veel betaal voor de cruise dus we moesten wel. Toen we met de bus naar de boot reden kregen we te horen dat de weg overspoeld was met modder, dus konden we niet gaan. Ik vond dat eigenlijk wel prima, want je zag toch niks. Maar onderweg kregen we te horen dat aan de andere kant de weg óók overspoeld was met modder. Aarghh! We gingen naar een hostel dichtbij waar we VIJF uur hebben gewacht. Het was bommetjevol, ik had niet eens een stoel! Toen kregen we te horen dat we met de helikopter terug zouden gaan. Yesss! Het duurde maar vijf minuten, maar het was megavetsuperdupercool.
Toen waren we in Dunedin. Daar hebben we iets heel leuks gedaan: Cadbury World Tour! Cadbury is een chocoladebedrijf met fabrieken over de hele wereld, en in Dunedin kun je een tour doen! Je krijgt megaveel chocola en er is een chocolade waterval die wel duizend liter chocola per keer uitspuwt! We hebben ook nog vier extra repen gekocht, gewoon voor de zekerheid ;-).
Vanuit Christchurch vlogen we naar Melbourne. Ik ben nu in Melbourne en het is superleuk hier! Daar vertel ik de volgende keer over. Lots of love, Eden

Heeeeeeeyyyy! I have a lot to tell. Let's go!
It took nine (!) hours to fly from Hawaii to New Zealand. And there was no time difference, but it was a day later! Weird right? We spent a few days in Auckland, but it rained all the time. We drove to Rotorua, with geysers and stinking, bubbling mud! It stank to a mixture of rotten eggs and sweaty socks...
Then we went to Wellington. It's super nice there! There we went on the ferry to South Island. In Havelock we went with the mailboat. That is a boat that delivers mail to people who live very remote and do not have Internet or a road to their house. It was very interesting to see how those people live. They are completely secluded from the inhabited world. They have no electricity, no internet, no phone, no supermarket to buy Oreos and Flamingo-floaties. Yet they choose to live so, that's very unique right?
After Havelock we went to Motueka, where we did a very nice kayaktour. I am not going to write about the next three villages, because there was completely NOTHING. That is actually very special, in the rest of the world you don't have that. In Wanaka It was very bad weather. On the mountaintops lay even snow!
When we drove to Te Anau, we stopped on our way in Queenstown, where we ate super yummy sushi. In Te Anau we did a cruise in the Milford Sound, sooo beautiful! We also saw seals there. The next day we went to the glowworm caves. It is pitch dark, the only thing you see are the lights of the lights of the glowworms. Really cool! And the next day (we did a lot) we went to the Doubtful Sound. That did not turn out so well...
It was raining hard. I didn't want to go but my parents had payed a lot for the cruise so we had to. When we drove the bus to the boat we were told that the road was flooded with mud, so we could not go further. I thought that was fine, because you didn't see anything anyway. But on the way back we were told that on the other side the road was flooded with mud too. Aarghh! We went to a hostel nearby where we waited five hours. It was fully packed, I didn't even have a chair! Then we were told that we would go back with a helicopter. Yesss! It only took five minutes, but it was superduperdupersupercool.
Then we were in Dunedin. There we did something very nice: Cadbury World Tour! Cadbury is a chocolate company with factories all over the world, and in Dunedin you can do a tour through the factory! You get a lot of chocolate and there is a chocolate waterfall that spews out a thousand litres of chocolate at a time! We also bought four extra bars, just for fun ;-).
From Christchurch we flew to Melbourne. I am now in Melbourne and it's super nicehere! I'll tell you about that next time. Lots of Love, Eden
